Quartz is a type of engineered stone that is made from natural quartz crystals and resin. It is highly durable, non-porous, and resistant to stains, making it an excellent choice for various building applications.
Quartz offers numerous benefits, such as exceptional strength, scratch resistance, and heat resistance. It is also easy to maintain, hygienic, and available in a wide range of colors and patterns to suit different design preferences.

While granite and marble are natural stones, quartz is an engineered stone. It is manufactured by combining natural quartz crystals with resin and other additives. This process enhances the durability and versatility of quartz, making it more resistant to stains and scratches compared to natural stone.

Quartz is commonly used for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, flooring, wall cladding, backsplashes, and other surfaces in residential and commercial buildings. It is also utilized in various interior design projects, such as fireplace surrounds and custom furniture pieces.

Quartz is considered a greener option compared to some other stone materials. It is made using abundant natural resources, and the manufacturing process often incorporates recycled materials. Additionally, quartz’s durability and longevity contribute to reducing waste over time.
Quartz surfaces are relatively low maintenance. Regular cleaning with mild soap and water or a non-abrasive cleaner is usually sufficient. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface. Quartz does not require sealing, as it is non-porous.
While quartz is primarily used indoors, some quartz varieties are specifically designed for outdoor applications. These varieties are engineered to withstand exposure to UV rays, temperature changes, and other environmental factors. Always check with the manufacturer for specific outdoor suitability.
Quartz is available in a wide array of colors, patterns, and finishes. Consider factors such as your overall design scheme, the desired level of visual impact, and the functionality of the space when selecting a quartz option.
